I used to be in town, but I'm not anymore and I used to have a cat that spent his whole life indoors. I don't know how he could live like that, does he ever just get bored? I told him there's a whole big planet and kitty you don't know the half of it. You've got no idea what's going on right beneath your nose so go to sleep your life is perfectly fine. Go to sleep, your sleep will be better than mine, but in the morning you'll wake up to find you're just a bag of bones.
Well I made up my mind - I'm not gonna get personal, just like I'm not a person at all. I'll drill a hole in the side of my head and scoop out my brains and I'll serve it to you like it's soft serve ice cream.
Woah, just shut up. I can't shut up.
I'm getting older now, I'm getting up as fast as I'm falling down, I'm digging holes inside the ground, aint sleeping sound, but I'm coffin-bound. My clothes don't fit, I spend all the money I get and growing a beard took longer than I ever imagined.
I got all my favorite things from the lost and found, the thorns that cut my hands will be someone else's crown. The secrets that live in my yard are starting to get loud and I don't want to clean up my room, I'd rather just move out.

Driving home with a hundred miles to go in a gold Corolla with the maintenance light aglow and there's no one around so you turn the hi beams on. Windows down, you can barely hear the song.
Bugs hit the glass and there's still no sign of sleep so you soften your grip and you readjust your feet. Construction ahead, but you keep it in cruise control. Driving home, you've got ninety miles to go.
